FIVEM - PIER RIDES PACK [ESX][QBCORE][QBOX]
The three big rides of Del Perro Pier, made rideable with the game's own models, animations and sounds: the Leviathan roller coaster, the drop tower and the Ferris Whale.
Each ride is driven by the server clock: the server sends one motion or ride program and every client computes the same position, so the rides are smooth for everyone with no position streaming. The three rides share the same operator panel style, ticket system, ground signs and branding.
Roller Coaster, The Leviathan (rex_rollercoaster)
No custom prop and no map edit. The train follows a smooth spline through the base-game track, climbs the chain lift, then gravity takes over. Every client computes the same train from the server clock: no position streaming and no desync.
- Four cars, two riders per car (1 to 4). Launch, chain lift, gravity-driven speed with friction and boosters, smooth station brake.
- Lap bars lower and raise like in the base game; riders hold the bar, put their hands up with SPACE and switch cameras with V (game, first person, cinematic chase).
- Automatic mode (departure after the first rider) or manual mode (an operator sends the train). Speed x0.25 to x3, 1 to 5 laps per ride.
- Panel extras: coloured smoke and music through xsound. Ride HUD with car, speed, height, lap and progress.
- Optional motion sickness after fast or long rides, seen by the players around.
Drop Tower (rex_droptower)
The base-game gondolas run up and down the mast with the game's ride animations and sounds. The server sends one ride program and every client computes the height from the server clock.
- Four gondolas with four seats each (1 to 6), boarding at the base of the tower.
- Lift with ratchet clicks, random hold at the top, free fall, brake curve, bounce and settle.
- Multi-drop programs picked in the panel: Signature, Classic, Double, Triple or Random, with fake starts and partial climbs.
- Automatic or manual mode, drop height 25 to 100 %, coloured smoke at the drop, music through xsound, emergency stop.
- Hands up with SPACE, three cameras with V, ride HUD (height, speed, drop n / N), optional motion sickness.
Ferris Wheel, The Ferris Whale (rex_ferriswheel)
No custom prop and no map edit. Sixteen cabins stay level while the wheel turns; every client computes the wheel from the server clock, so it is smooth for everyone.
- Sixteen cabins, two seats each (1 to 4). Boarding at the bottom when a cabin with a free seat stops.
- Automatic mode like the base game, or manual mode run by an operator. Speed x0.25 to x5, laps per ride, coloured smoke and xsound music.
- Seated on the bench or standing at the railing with the GTA Online Ferris Whale pose; riders can switch pose and move to a free seat of their cabin.
- Hands up with SPACE, three cameras with V, ride HUD with cabin, height, lap and progress. Admins fine-tune every seat with /ferrisseats.
Tickets and operators
- Tickets paid with cash then bank (configurable accounts); refunded if you leave the queue or wait too long.
- Operator jobs: give the operator panels to a job and minimum grade (Config.Operators.jobs), on top of admins.
- Society payouts: ticket money can be credited to a job or society account (Config.Society).
- Own pass item per ride: free rides for a set number of minutes, stackable and kept across restarts.
- Compatible with Rex Pier Pass: when rex_pierpass runs, boarding needs a valid Pier Pass or one of its ride tickets (checked server side); without it, each ride keeps its own price.
Interaction
- ox_target or qb-target at each boarding point, or a built-in [E] prompt. Auto-detected.
- Ground signs: each ride's name painted on the ground at its entrance, in its own colour, shown within 3 m and hidden while you ride. Admins place them with /coastersign, /dropsign and /ferrissign, saved on the server and synced to everyone; add reset to go back to the config.
Administration
- Operator panels /coasterpanel, /droppanel, /ferrispanel with live view. Settings are saved and survive restarts.
- Console and in-game commands /coasteradmin, /dropadmin, /ferrisadmin: open, close, start, stop, auto, manual, reset, debug, plus in-game seat editors (/coasterseats, /dropseats, /ferrisseats).
- Admin check: ACE (rexcoaster.admin, rexdrop.admin, rexferris.admin), ESX / QBCore / QBox admin groups, or a list of identifiers.
- Hidden promo commands /coasternpc, /dropnpc, /ferrisnpc (admins only, not suggested in chat): NPC riders for your trailers.
Customisation and performance
- Config.Branding: your logo (file or https URL), name and subtitle on every window.
- English and French included; every text lives in locales/.
- The animated rides only exist near the pier and the static map versions come back further away: 0.00 ms when you are far. Smoke effects only spawn within 50 m (Config.Effects.drawDistance).
Requirements
- ox_lib and OneSync (required).
- ESX, QBCore or QBox, detected automatically; with no framework the rides are simply free.
- Optional: ox_target or qb-target (otherwise a built-in [E] prompt), xsound for the ride music, an inventory for the ride pass items, rex_pierpass.
Installation
- Step 1. Drop the rex_rollercoaster, rex_droptower and rex_ferriswheel folders into your resources.
- Step 2. In server.cfg, after ox_lib, your framework (and xsound if used): ensure rex_rollercoaster, ensure rex_droptower, ensure rex_ferriswheel.
- Step 3. Give your staff the admin ACE: add_ace group.admin rexcoaster.admin allow, add_ace group.admin rexdrop.admin allow, add_ace group.admin rexferris.admin allow.
- Step 4. Adjust each config.lua (price, operator jobs, branding, locale), then run the rides from their operator panels.
Escrow
Escrow: config, locales and bridge are open. In each resource, config.lua, locales/, bridge/ and install/ (documentation) can be read and edited; the rest of the code and the streamed files are protected by the Cfx escrow system.
