REX BEER PONG

REX BEER PONG

Server-synced beer pong with real ball physics

Rex Beer Pong brings a full beer pong game to your server, on a custom Rex Studio table with its own cups and ball. Play 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 or against an NPC at four levels, choose the rack and the house rules, and set a bet. Aim with the mouse, charge the power bar and watch the ball fly on a visible arc, while the server simulates every throw, so every player and spectator sees exactly the same bounce, rim and cup.

Important: Rex Beer Pong requires OneSync, ox_lib and oxmysql. ESX, QBCore and QBox are detected automatically, and it also runs standalone (no money).

GAME MODES

  • 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2, with team slots in a lobby and host settings synced live to everybody in the lobby
  • NPC opponent (1 vs 1) with 4 levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, Nightmare. The server aims and simulates its balls with the same physics (rims, bounce shots, near misses), it re-racks and drinks the cups you sink, and every spectator sees it the same way
  • Throwing spots: players are placed on their spot at their end of the table (side by side in 2 vs 2) and their position is locked during the game, checked by the server

RACKS AND RE-RACKS

  • 6-cup and 10-cup triangles and a zipper, and you can add your own layouts in the config
  • 0 to 3 re-racks per team and game, with formations offered by the cups left (diamond, square, line, stoplight...)

AIM AND THROW

  • Mouse aims left / right and the arc angle, hold LMB to charge the power bar, release to throw
  • Trajectory preview drawn in the world
  • 3 cameras cycled with V: aim camera, table view and side view
  • 4 difficulties (Easy / Medium / Hard / Nightmare): length of the preview, landing marker and server-side throw error

REAL BALL PHYSICS

  • Gravity, air drag, table bounces, rim hits, cup walls and balls that sink in the cup
  • Deterministic engine shared by the server (authority) and the client (preview only)

HOUSE RULES

  • Balls back, bounce shot = 2 cups, redemption and 3-cup overtime, chosen in the lobby
  • Throw timer: the ball is lost when time runs out
  • Every event is shown on screen: bounce shots, re-racks, redemption, overtime, balls back

DRINKING AND DRUNK EFFECTS

  • The team that loses a cup drinks it: drinking animation with the cup in hand
  • Drunk system (built-in, esx_status or your own): blurred vision, camera shake, drunk walk, drunk driving, stumbles and passing out, with decay over time
  • Every drink also adds throw error

CUSTOM PROPS

  • Streamed with the resource: a 2.44 m tournament table with the Rex Studio print, red cups with beer and a 40 mm ball
  • Vanilla fallbacks can be set in the config

TABLES

  • Placeable table with a usable item (or /beerpong), ghost placement with rotation
  • Fixed tables in the config and permanent admin tables saved in the database
  • ox_target, qb-target or the built-in [E] prompt

BETS

  • Wager per player taken when the game starts, pot paid to the winners, optional house cut credited to a society account
  • Refunded if the lobby is cancelled. Amounts validated by the server, cash or bank, min / max
  • Optional bets against the NPC, paid by the house (off by default)

STATS AND LEADERBOARD

  • Scoreboard for players and spectators, results screen at the end of the game
  • Leaderboard and personal stats saved with oxmysql: wins, losses, accuracy, bounces, best streak, drinks and earnings

ADMIN TOOLS

  • /bpadmin add [label] places a permanent table, /bpadmin remove removes the closest table, /bpadmin clear removes the tables and games around you, /bpadmin pos prints your position for the config (ACE permission)

SECURITY

  • The server simulates every throw with the difficulty error: the client only sends the aim
  • The server checks the thrower's position and distance to the table
  • Cups, bets and payouts are handled by the server only
