REX DARTS

REX DARTS

Synced darts on every vanilla dartboard

Rex Darts turns every dartboard on your map into a real game: walk up, pick 501, 301, Around the Clock or Cricket, invite up to 4 players and set a stake. You aim with the mouse against a swaying hand, steady it with Focus, time the power bar, and the server scores every dart from the real board geometry. Players nearby watch the darts land and follow the score live.

Important: Rex Darts requires OneSync, ox_lib and oxmysql. ESX, QBCore and QBox are detected automatically, and it also runs standalone (bets off).

FOUR GAME MODES

  • 501 and 301, with double out on or off
  • Around the Clock: 1 to 20 in order, then the bull (doubles and trebles can skip numbers, configurable)
  • Cricket: close 15 to 20 and the bull, score on open numbers
  • 1 to 4 players, first to 1, 3 or 5 legs, the starting player rotates every leg, round limit per mode
  • Solo practice (no stake, no stats)

AIM AND THROW

  • Mouse aim against a procedural hand sway
  • Focus (hold Shift) steadies the hand, with a limited budget per visit
  • Hold and release on a power bar with a perfect window
  • Screen-space reticle, always on top of the board and readable on every segment, sized by the current sway
  • The next dart is held in the hand, seen by every player around, and flies from the hand into the board
  • HUD with power, focus and the darts left in the visit

FOUR CAMERAS

  • Player (thrower's eyes), Close-up, Over the shoulder and a Cinematic side view
  • Switch in a match with C / V, smooth transitions, each player's last choice is remembered
  • Cinematic view while a visit is resolved, and /dartscam for players watching
  • The aim works the same with every view, and every position and FOV is configurable

REAL SCORING

  • Singles, doubles, trebles, 25 and bull, scored from the landing point with regulation ring ratios and the official number order
  • Busts, double out and checkouts handled like the real game
  • Checkout routes shown live (e.g. T20 T19 D12)
  • Callouts for 180, ton+, bust and game shot

SCOREBOARD AND SPECTATORS

  • Live scoreboard: scores, legs, 3-dart average, current visit, turn timer, a mini board with the darts of the visit and the cricket marks grid
  • Players nearby see the darts fly and stick and can get the scoreboard too (optional)
  • Results screen at the end of the match: legs, darts, average, best visit, 180s and best checkout

BETS

  • Stake per player held in escrow by the server, cash or bank account, min / max and quick presets
  • House cut in %, destroyed or credited to a society account
  • Refunds on a cancelled lobby or a resource stop. Leaving a running game counts as a forfeit

BOARDS

  • Every vanilla dartboard works automatically (Yellow Jack Inn, MC clubhouses, MLOs using the vanilla props), no coordinates needed
  • Extra boards from the config, and map blips for your board locations
  • Admins can hang permanent boards in game
  • Placeable dartboard item (dartboard): wall snap, height adjust, saved in the database, the owner can take it back, with a limit per player

ADMIN TOOLS

  • /dartsplace to hang a permanent board, /dartsadmin to list running games (ACE permission)
  • /dartscalibrate draws the scoring rings on a board in game to fine-tune each board model
  • /dartshand to tune the dart held in the hand live, values printed and copied for the config
  • /dartsreset for players: closes the window, HUD and camera if anything ever gets stuck

LEADERBOARD

  • Wins, games, 3-dart average, 180s and best checkout, saved with oxmysql
  • One tab away from the game window

SECURITY

  • The client only sends the aim point and the power: the server adds its own scatter, scores the dart and handles the money
  • Turn, game state, distance to the oche, throw rate and value ranges are checked server side
  • Optional Discord webhook for finished games
