An RDR2-styled Advent Calendar for December that can also run all year as a daily login streak. One resource, works with VORP and RSG (detected automatically). The server computes the day and validates every claim.

Parchment, aged wood, wax seals, western fonts and falling snow. Each door opens in 3D and the reward is shown on a telegram.

Reward reveal: "You received" Bandage x3 on day 13.

Features

• Two modes: Advent (24 doors by default, configurable month, start day, number of doors up to 31, fixed or recurring year) or Streak (N-day cycle, optional reset on a missed day, optional loop)
• Rewards per day: several items, cash, gold, bank money
• Big days (e.g. the 24th): golden door, special reveal and sound
• Different item names per framework in the same reward entry
• Optional catch-up of missed doors and grace days after the last door

• Server-side security: server clock with configurable UTC offset, the client only sends a day number, rate limits and cooldowns, one claim at a time per player, inventory space checked before saving, claim saved before the reward is given (no duplication)
• Admin commands: reset a player, player info, hot-reload of config.lua, coordinates helper. ACE permission and/or framework groups
• Optional Discord webhook logs (claims, admin actions, spam attempts)
• English and French locales
• Fonts and textures bundled (no CDN), scales from 1280×720 to 4K
• ~0.00 ms idle

Requirements

• oxmysql
• VORP: vorp_core + vorp_inventory, or RSG: rsg-core + rsg-inventory
• ox_lib (optional, only for ox_lib notifications)

Installation

1. Put the rex_advent folder in your resources folder.
2. (Optional) Import sql/rex_advent.sql. The table is also created automatically on start.
3. In server.cfg, after your framework and inventory: ensure rex_advent
4. Admin permission: add_ace group.admin rex_advent.admin allow (or framework groups in the config).
5. Edit config.lua (mode, timezone, rewards, locations) and restart.
6. Optional usable item: see the install/ folder and the README (VORP and RSG).

Escrow

This resource uses the Cfx.re Asset Escrow. Open and editable: config.lua, locales, the client/server bridge, SQL and install files. The core logic is escrowed. The resource is delivered through your Cfx.re account (Keymaster / Granted Assets) after purchase.
